In the heat of the summer, we normally take a break from planning after having launched our season and lined up our guest artists. This year is much different! With the difficulty and uncertainty of planning for the future, our plans for 2020-21 continue to change and evolve. You will continue to find updates on our webpage with future communication on our musical offerings this year. Make plans to enjoy musical and extra-musical content around our planned concert dates:

It has been extremely rewarding to have the sounds of Luminous Voices in the air again through the release of our new audio recording, Sea Dreams by Peter-Anthony Togni. If you haven’t heard, the worldwide online release was Friday, July 17, 2020 and there has been plenty of positive response to the recording. I encourage you all to take a listen in any way possible. We want our performances to be heard and we are all thrilled with the results of this latest project. You are welcome to purchase a physical CD, but please know that streaming our recording on iTunes, Spotify, YouTube, Naxos or any other service also boosts our presence in the global community of listeners. I certainly hope you take pride in our small but mighty Calgary arts organization. You can also find extra videos, interviews and background information about Sea Dreams through LVOnline. Spend some time with us by visiting LVOnline and Luminous Voices on YouTube where you will find more information about “the making of” and interviews about the recording process.
Our board has been working hard to refine the ways Luminous Voices can continue to make music together for you, our core audiences, as well as for new audiences around the country and world through many digital platforms. We are taking the time to return to our How & Why to find new and innovative ways to share our music. I can assure you that we will be sharing our music with you digitally, by video or by livestream, with the hope and promise of future performances in person.
