Welcome to LV Car Choir! We are so excited to experiment with FM radio signals to bring you a live, Luminous Experience in your very own car. Inspired by David Newman's experiments with FM transmitted music, we want you to drive up and enjoy some sweet singing from the safety of your own vehicle.
The first in the series, LV Car Choir #1 will be hosted in Parking Lot C of the Max Bell Arena, and will be free. Pick your parking spot, tune into the designated station (we will email this out the morning of the event), and enjoy the sounds of Calgary's Professional Chamber Choir broadcast directly into your car.
We are looking forward to collaborating with recording engineer Caleb Nelson of Edmonton's Silver Studios on this project, after a successful experimental trial run in Edmonton on September 19, 2020.
