#3 reason to attend A Luminous New Year's Eve

Our #3 reason to attend A Luminous New Year's Eve is the variety of music styles we will present -- and the way in which we will present them!

Our singers are hand-picked for their versatility and performance experience, from Early Music and Renaissance through to the 21st Century. Our programme will reflect that versatility and diversity. In addition to some classical and neo-classical numbers, we will also offer some jazz and pop. For instance, we will again perform the jazz standard What Are You Doing New Year's Eve? with another guest soloist (hint: it's not Tim Shantz, this year!), as well as numbers by Cyndi Lauper and the late Leonard Cohen.

One of our songs will even showcase our ability to play instruments, when a number of choristers play crystal glasses as part of a work by Latvian composer Ēriks Ešenvalds. Here's a great video of a street performer playing some Leonard Cohen on crystal glasses!
